Gumball 3000: The Ultimate Adventure Rally
What started as a wild idea has grown into one of the world’s most glamorous automotive events, attracting A-list drivers, musicians, athletes, and influencers while delivering unforgettable experiences at every stop.

Why Bandera? It's The Last U.S. Stop Before Mexico
Beyond the spectacle, Gumball 3000 has a serious purpose. The official Gumball 3000 Foundation (launched in 2013) works to support underprivileged youth worldwide through education, arts, and recreational infrastructure projects. During every rally, Maximillion Cooper and the team organize charity auctions, galas, and community events that have raised millions for worthy causes.
Towns along the route often see a major economic and cultural boost — and Bandera is no exception. Local organizers hope the global spotlight from this stop will help fund a much-needed roof cover over the rodeo arena, allowing the Cowboy Capital to host even more year-round events, concerts, and gatherings.

Then The Day Gumball Took Over Bandera
Bandera has seen its fair share of unforgettable events over the years, but June 8, 2026 was something else entirely.
For a few hours, the Cowboy Capital of the World became the center of the automotive universe as Gumball 3000 rolled into town. The streets filled with spectators, cameras appeared on every corner, and the familiar sounds of downtown Bandera were replaced by the rumble of exotic engines and the excitement of thousands of visitors eager to witness the rally firsthand.
Long before the first cars arrived, people were already lining the streets. Families, car enthusiasts, locals, and visitors gathered throughout downtown, finding the perfect spot to catch a glimpse of the vehicles that would soon make their way through town.
Then they arrived.

One after another, some of the world's most recognizable supercars rolled through Bandera. Lamborghinis, Ferraris, McLarens, custom-built exotics, and rare vehicles that most people only ever see online drew crowds at every stop. Cameras flashed constantly, conversations sparked between strangers, and every few minutes another incredible vehicle seemed to steal the spotlight.
Yet what made the day special wasn't just the cars.
It was watching people from around the world experience Bandera.

Drivers stepped out to meet fans. Visitors wandered through local shops and businesses. Families took photos together. Kids stood wide-eyed as dream cars passed just a few feet away. For a few hours, Bandera became a place where Texas hospitality and international car culture collided in the best possible way.

A Weekend to Remember
Leading up to the event, Texas Salt Co. and The Salt Block celebrated with our Gumball Getaway giveaway, giving one lucky winner a two-night stay in The Cowboy Suite at The Salt Block during the rally weekend.
We'd like to congratulate all of our giveaway winners and thank everyone who entered. Seeing the excitement build in the weeks leading up to the event made the experience even more memorable.

More Than Just Cars
While the cars may have been the headline attraction, the event showcased something we already knew: Bandera knows how to welcome people.
Local businesses stayed busy, visitors explored downtown, and the entire community came together to help make the day a success. Whether you came to see the cars, support local businesses, or simply be part of the excitement, thank you for helping create an atmosphere that people will be talking about for years to come.
To everyone who attended, thank you for being part of it.
